The state-of-the-art, nonprofit SPCA Veterinary Care Center provides complete veterinary care including spay & neuter surgeries, vaccinations, exams, heartworm testing & prevention, flea & tick prevention, microchipping and more for privately owned dogs & cats. 100% of generated revenue supports the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare's ongoing mission to protect, care for and rehome stray, abandoned, neglected & abused animals in our community. 

SERVICES & PRICES

For the safety of our staff, other patrons and their pets, we require cats to be in hard carriers and dogs on a leash (NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED).

We ask that supporters call between the hours of 9am and 11:30am; Tuesday - Friday to better reach out front desk. If no one answers the phone, PLEASE leave a detailed voicemail and a staff member will return your call within 1-2 business days. 

Spay/Neuter surgeries MUST be scheduled in advance. Call (803) 648-6864.

Please note before visiting our office: Dogs must arrive leashed or harnessed and cats must be in a pet carrier.

If you are not able to provide a pet carrier, please call us prior to your visit so we can make arrangements for you. 

UPDATE: Surgeries, including voucher surgeries, will require a nonrefundable $15 deposit

at least a week before the scheduled surgery date.

  • Open umbilical hernia or cryptorchid male (any male animal with one or both testicles undescended)

  • Prescribed take home medications

  • (antibiotic pills, liquids, ointments or dewormers)

A spay & neuter voucher program is offered to Aiken County/North Augusta, City of Aiken & Edgefield County residents for low-income pet owners.
