The SPCA Veterinary Care Center is a non-profit organization that provides wellness care, including spay & neuter surgeries, vaccinations, exams, heartworm testing & prevention, flea & tick prevention, & microchipping for privately owned dogs & cats. 100% of generated revenue supports the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare's ongoing mission to protect, care for and rehome stray, abandoned, neglected & abused animals in our community.
SERVICES & PRICES
For the safety of our staff, other patrons and their pets, we require cats to be in hard carriers and dogs on a leash (NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED).

Heartworm Medication Products & Prices
Heartworm medication can only be dispensed within in a 12-month period after your pet has tested negative at this facility, and if your pet has been continually on prevention. We require yearly testing to provide heartworm medication.

Spay/Neuter surgeries MUST be scheduled in advance. Call (803) 648-6864. We ask that supporters call between the hours of 8:30am - 11:30am Monday - Friday to reach our front desk. If no one is available, PLEASE leave a detailed voicemail and a staff member will return your call within 1-2 business days.
Surgeries, including voucher surgeries, will require a nonrefundable $15 - $50 deposit at the time of scheduling your pet's appointment that will be applied toward the surgery.

A spay & neuter voucher program is offered to Aiken County/North Augusta, City of Aiken & Edgefield County residents for low-income pet owners.
